Every time I take out a storybook, children will look at the pictures,
flip the pages and miss everything I say. So I have to ask them, "If you
stop looking at the picture and pay attention to what I am saying, you
can still see the pictures later. Will the pictures fly away?"
"No."
"But if you stop listening and look at the pictures, can you hear what I say later?"
"No."
So what should you do when I take out the storybook?"
"Listen to you."
"Good."
Then I take out the storybook. They start looking at the pictures.
