Open Mind ≠ Mindlessness

There are times when some people believe in some stupid ideas* and I refute rationally with reasons, they'll say I need to be more open-minded.

[* Here are some examples of stupid ideas :
HK will claim to be infected area and hence need to store rice.
Going to washrooms in China, you will get your kidney stolen.
Salt can resist radiation.
Extraterrestrial intelligence loves to build things on earth and then leave.
When they can't explain something or too careless/lazy to investigate something, then it is ghost.
Pet psychic.]

To them, to be open-minded means to accept whatever crap they say. If that's the case, I'd rather be narrow-minded (in their terms, of course) than to downgrade to a retard.
[ "I don't like the fact that you're proving me wrong, so I will pretend that your failure to agree with my argument is a philosophical deficiency"
Open mind

I am sorry they don't have the brain to understand things and that I can't make them any smarter. The best I can do is stop being "bitchy" (scornful) but it's not going to change the fact that they ARE dim-witted! And here's the funny part: an ignorant person tries to define open-mindedness. Just how am I able to stop laughing?!
