The symptoms of a cold develop slowly and can include:

nausea 想吐。真吐咗出嚟就 vomit / throw up / puke。用吐嘅方法減肥變成無法正常進食叫 Bulimia。屬於 anorexia ( 厭食症 ) 一種。暈船浪 seasick / motion sickness。

Sneeze 就係打乞嗤。擤鼻就 blow (one's) nose。好明顯 runny nose 就係流鼻水，唔係好識走嘅鼻。如果我要 runny egg 就系荷包蛋 (a.k.a. overeasy)，唔係好識走嘅蛋。因為分泌物太多，所以有 watery eyes 囉。

sore 係痛，發痰。亦可形容身體其他部份。sore knee/heel。

Stuffy 除咗用响鼻亦可用响房，即係間房好焗。

曾經聽過啲少女担心初次性愛會好痛，有人提議食定 Panadol。

重有， chest pain 系 heart attack ( 心臟病 ) 嘅 symptom ( 病徵 )。chest 就男女都有，但 breast 就只係女人先有 ( 正常地 )。

Sick vs. Uncomfortable

見到 Siu Sir 到有網友想知道一啲病嘅英文，覺得都幾 interesting。首先同大家分辨吓有病嘅用法先。

雖然 uncomfortable 中文系唔舒服，但係系講緊「唔自在」、「怪怪咁」果種唔舒服。

病咗就應該用 sick。病假都叫 sick leave 啦！
--> I feel sick. / I am sick. / I got sick.

但系都要小心用同聽。

咁就會變成因變態而覺噁心嘅意思。

Hard「硬」！

Hard 即「硬」！咁死緊緊係 die hard 嘞 — 如果你以為係真咁你真係 dead meat 嘞！

另外 hard feelings 並非硬感覺，而是「不要傷咗和氣，亦不要壞恨在心」。例如大家討論吓啲嘢而唔係針對邊個，但朋友持唔同立場，咁就大派用場。

依家男女平等，play hard to get ( 釣高嚟賣 ) 己經唔再係女仔專用。通常响啲 sitcom 會聽到 "He wants to play hard to get. I invented the game!" 哈哈。真係好無聊。

至於 hard core 同 hard drug，一睇都知唔方好嘢。Hard core上網隨便都有。係好露骨嘅性愛影像。Hard drug 硬性毒品如海洛英呀、可卡茵呀，會勁上癮嘅。好明顯 soft drug 就係軟性毒品，如咖啡因呀、大麻呀咁。

sand and palm trees make her look fat, how her last

improving, and how at least the taxes are low and it isn't
raining.

Nudity of Celebrities

The hot talk in town is about photos of celebrities' faked nudities on the Web. I am not an expert in computer; in fact, I'm a computer idiot. But I know it's not easy, not impossible though, to trace the origin of those photos. It takes FBI and CIA to do it. Mr Yip ( 葉一知 ) has carried out an experiment: http://diumanpark.mysinablog.com/index.php faking to have those photos. It ends up with zillions of visitors flooded in. Conclusion -- the majority has no better things to do.

In the real world, people commited crimes and do all sorts of immoral things. In the virtual world, when it is even more difficult to identify users, more people reveal their true side -- the darkness of humanity. Imagine a world with no moral, women would be in great danger.

Apparently, time and technology are not used wisely. We are entering an era of time- and technology-pollution. Welcome to the real world! It sucks like the virtual!
