How to Use A Squat Toilet 1

Wearing the right clothings are very important. It can make the whole process easier and more enjoyable. First find some pants with this (finger pointing) device.
If that's not your fashion, then roll up your pants like this.
And remember, choose pants with elastic band waistline, because jeans is so clumsy -- you can't spread your legs to squat.
I know it's a hassle, but you'll not wear your piss-soaked-pants later. So, roll your pants up, up, and up... until you're like going down the rice paddy field.
Besides rolling up, you also have to drop your pants down, so this totally crushed pants places just above your knees. Don't think of placing it at the thighline (i.e. joints of your thighs and butt) cos' it's so thick, you can't squat. If you place it just above your ankle, your pants will touch the poo and pee. HOLY!
Stop laughing. This is tiring ... to be continued ...

Ketchup and Jetso

「旦系果支寫 "catch up" 唔一樣。」*
e.g. Catch you up later! / Let's find some time and do some catching up.

"Okay, if I buy, what jetso you give me?"
"What?"
"Jetso. I buy, you give me jetso."
"Jet-so? How to spell?"
"I don't know."

唔系話呢啲字有問題,但朋友,take your own risk。

Seeing Doctor

(cost an arm and leg) 咁又檢吓體溫 (take temperature) 同血壓 (blood pressure)。Body check (檢身) 先會抽血 (take/draw blood)。

-- I twisted/sprang (扭傷) my ankle and it swells.
-- Girls usually feel their tummies bloated when they have their periods (月事).
dizzy 暈酡酡 faint / blackout / lose consciousness / pass out 失去知覺 coma 昏迷 (刻薄話植物人 vegetable / veggie / veg,甚至 carrot )
itchy (adj.) 癢
bruise
burnt
bleed
serious cut

Home and Guest

No. Memory imprints. I've seen them. A buddy of mine is a programmer at the Institute. He showed me. They change around little details, but they're all pretty much the same. The life you think you had before the "contamination," it never happened. Come on, don't look at me like that. At least you had a bike. Wanna trade your rosy memory implants for my shitty childhood, be my guest.

pretty = quite
wanna = want to
shitty = shit 嘅形容詞式。差勁的,劣等的

be my guest
-- "Can I try your dish?" "Be my guest."
-- "Your husband is so sweet!" "You think so? Take him. Be my guest."
          *           *          *          *          *
make yourself at home
-- In the visit, just make yourself home.

Chemist / Pharmacy / Drugstore

When I was in High School, I used to read this British magazine "Look". There was an issue when it gave out a little book of "Blokes Jokes" (bloke in England means guy, and must be male!):
Two country-boys (hick 鄉下佬) come to London and end up with only Ł5 left. Bloke A sees a chemist shop and tells Bloke B to wait for him. Soon he comes out saying, “I've cleared up our problems.” Bloke B snatched his brown paperbag and sees a pack of tampons inside.

Did you use all money on this tampon?”

Yep. We shouldn't have anymore problems.”

What the heck could a box of tampons possibly do?”

Well, the ad says with this, we can go swimming, horse riding ...”

end up -- (v.) 結果
clear up -- (v.)
the heck -- to replace the word "hell"
yep -- yes / yeah / yup
ad -- advertisement

-- tablets = pills

ointment / cream 塗揸嘅 (e.g. for hemorrhoid or athlete foot)
spray 噴 (for bad breath 口臭)

I'm not going to sugar coat it for you. He's just not that into you.

be into (something)   對某事感興趣

Miranda decided to test her date. He wanted to call it a day after a spicy dinner. Miranda told him to be direct and just told her the truth that he's actually not that into her. He was left with no choice but to tell the truth, “I have diahrrea.”

call it a day  今日就到此為止啦

Hemmorhoid
Athlete foot
STD (sexually transmitted disease)  性病

Allergy? Cold? Or Flu?

http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/home/common/infections/cold-flu/073.html
The symptoms of a cold develop slowly and can include:

  • Fever up to 102 degrees
  • Runny or stuffy nose (often with green or yellow-colored discharge(排出/流出)
  • Sore throat
  • Cough
  • Sneezing
  • Fatigue and muscle aches
  • Headache
  • Watery eyes
Cold symptoms are generally more mild than flu (influenza) symptoms.

Flu symptoms usually appear very suddenly and can include:
  • Fever over 102 degrees
  • Stuffy nose
  • Nausea
  • Chills and sweats
  • Fatigue and muscle aches, especially in your back, arms and legs
  • Cough
  • Headache
  • Loss of appetite

More and more children are allergic to peanuts.
Joke: I'm allergic to work.
Westerners are very sensitive about body size.

真吐咗出嚟就 vomit / throw up / puke。

如果我要 runny egg 就系荷包蛋 (a.k.a. overeasy),唔係好識走嘅蛋。

sore knee/heel。

Stuffy
It's stuffy here. Why don't you open the windows?

Pain and Ache

Pain <=> Ache
Cramp

headache ( migraine ) / belly-ache / tummy-ache / earache / toothache / backache / muscle ache / stomach-ache (upset stomach)

Pain/Ache in the neck/ass.

另外好老土嘅 no pain, no gain。

Sick vs. Uncomfortable

--> I am uncomfortable drawing a naked man/woman.
--> I feel sick. / I am sick. / I got sick.

--> Eating dogs? That's so sick!
--> I'm sick of all your excuses everytime I ask you to do something.
咁就同 fed up / have enough 一樣,有厭煩之意。
--> She's worried sick of her kid's schoolwork.

ill economy / ill advice

Hard「

DIE HARD (noun) — to die the hard way 硬是要 fight 一輪先肯死咁樣。

DEAD MEAT = doomed
If next time you don't have your homework done, you're dead meat.

play hard to get 通常响啲 sitcom 會聽到 "He wants to play hard to get. I invented the game!"

give them a hard time

Joke on Different Cultures again!

Shipwrecked

On a group of beautiful deserted islands in the middle of
nowhere, the following people are stranded:

2 Italian men and 1 Italian woman
2 French men and 1 French woman
2 German men and 1 German woman
2 Greek men and 1 Greek woman
2 English men and 1 English woman
2 Bulgarian men and 1 Bulgarian woman
2 Japanese men and 1 Japanese woman
2 Chinese men and 1 Chinese woman
2 American men and 1 American woman
2 Irish men and 1 Irish woman

One month later on these absolutely stunning deserted
islands in the middle of nowhere, the following things
have occurred:

One Italian man killed the other Italian man for the Italian
woman.

The two French men and the French woman are living
happily together in a menage-a-trois.

The two German men have a strict weekly schedule of
alternating visits with the German woman.

The two Greek men are sleeping with each other and
the Greek woman is cleaning and cooking for them.

The two English men are waiting for someone to
introduce them to the English woman.

The two Bulgarian men took one long look at the
endless ocean and another long look at the Bulgarian
woman and started swimming.

The two Japanese have faxed Tokyo and are awaiting
instructions.

The two Chinese men have set up a pharmacy/liquor/
store/restaurant/ laundry and have gotten the woman
pregnant in order to supply employees for their stores.

The two American men are contemplating the virtues of
suicide, because the American woman keeps on
complaining about her body, the true nature of feminism,
how she can do everything they can do, the necessity of
fulfilment, the equal division of household chores, how
sand and palm trees make her look fat, how her last
boyfriend respected her opinion and treated her nicer
than they do, how her relationship with her mother is
improving, and how at least the taxes are low and it isn't
raining.

The two Irish men divided the island into North and
South and set up a distillery. They do not remember if
sex is in the picture because it gets sort of foggy after
the first few liters of coconut whiskey.
But they're satisfied because at least the English aren't
having any fun."

Rascals are More Popular on the Web

Nudity of Celebrities

The hot talk in town is about photos of celebrities' faked nudities on the Web. I am not an expert in computer; in fact, I'm a computer idiot. But I know it's not easy, not impossible though, to trace the origin of those photos. It takes FBI and CIA to do it. Mr Yip ( 葉一知 ) has carried out an experiment:
http://diumanpark.mysinablog.com/index.php faking to have those photos. It ends up with zillions of visitors flooded in. Conclusion -- the majority has no better things to do.

In the real world, people commited crimes and do all sorts of immoral things. In the virtual world, when it is even more difficult to identify users, more people reveal their true side -- the darkness of humanity. Imagine a world with no moral, women would be in great danger.

Apparently, time and technology are not used wisely. We are entering an era of time- and technology-pollution. Welcome to the real world! It sucks like the virtual!

Vocabulary:
striptease = TD ( table dance ) = lap dance = exotic dance 脫衣舞 / 艷舞
4. do / carry out / make / try  an experiment on
5. end up = become = result (verb)
6. billion --> million --> trillion ... --> zillion
7. has no better things to do 食飽飯無嘢做
9. sort = kind = type
10. identify
12. apparently = obviously
13. era
14. suck [ slang 俚 ] 好唔掂 ( e.g. Men suck! <-- just kidding  ) 原意:吸 ( e.g. Please suck the poison from my snake bite. )

Crocodile Tears

http://love.iciba.com/crocodile%20tears/

The truth is that Pete never liked his rich Uncle John. But you should have seen his crocodile tears when the old man died and left him a million dollars!

He wept a few
crocodile tears over his wife's death and then go married again at once.

How to Use A Squat Toilet 2

Alright. After a short break, let's continue. Get your hands under this ... bunch of pants! The Chinese character is saying "front". You would probably notice by how the hand is placed.
Try to grab and hold it together.
Pull it out of your way to view what's going down there. Now, someone asked me where to face over the squat toilet. You should be looking at 'the hole' -- the deeper part of the thing.
Why? Below are illustrations where the liquid react to different slopes. WTH are the pics showing? Figure it out yourselves.
WRONG!
CORRECT! The key of how to squat is shown with the straight red line. Notice that the soles are flat on the ground; a more comfortable posture for a long ... big business. Bare in mind, don't touch the ground with your butt!
